The Cat

I have cat friends.
I live with some cats.
I like cats.

BUT...

WATCH OUT...

Those sneaky little fur balls can get a dog in a lot of trouble.

  Just LOOK at that face...TROUBLE!

Now.. I do really like "Mocha". She is a cool kitten.
"Mocha" belongs to Jessica, and is her Bichon, Bentley's", best friend.

They play together all of the time. Or should I say that that silly kitten dives across the room and lands on top of "Bentley".

 Watch Out Bentley!

Got him again! Really, Bentley don't let that cat get away with that.

"Bentley" even lets her chew on his tail!...Oh the disgrace.

Look out Bentley!
She's getting ready again.

Come on Bentley...Stand up for yourself.

Well, the other day this little fluff ball finally got in trouble.

HaHaHa....

Oh, excuse me...
I still laugh when I think about it.

What happened? Well I will tell you.

"Mocha" was caught pooping in Mom's plants!
Mom's plants!
Mom loves her plants. You don't poop in Mom's plants.

Mom was moving the plants out to the sunroom before she takes them outside for the summer. That is when Mom found the poop.
Unfortunately, when Mom found the poop, us dogs lost our treats.
Yes treats.
It's good stuff.
Really... ask any dog that lives with a cat.
That was why Mom didn't know that "Mocha" was pooping in her plants. We were cleaning it up for her.

Hear that Mom...We were helping you.
Oh well. It sounded good to me.

Mom couldn't figure out where we were getting our poop treats from.
We weren't telling.

Cats are good for somethings, unfortunately, the thing they are good for, we dogs are not allowed to have.

Oh by the way...

This is the way I like them!

Mother;s Day at Grandma's

Yesterday was Mother's Day.
Happy Mother's Day Mom.
I Love you.

Theses are the flowers we got for Mom.
She loved them.

These are the flowers Ben got for Mom.
Ben wanted to get his own flowers for Mom.

That is our Ben.

This is the flower we got for Grandma. Everyone says that Grandma has a green thumb. She can grow anything.
Her thumb doesn't look green to me.

It is so fun going to Grandma's. The whole family was there. I always help out by cleaning up any thing that falls on the floor.

I like sitting next to Pop, because he always drops something.

Mom says that I am spoiled, because all I have to do is stand next to somebody and they will give me something.
Uncle Mike is the best one to go to, because he ALWAYS gives me something to eat.

I also love going to Grandma's, because....

SHE HAS GRASS!!

And I can run and run and run...

The guys cut a tree down for Grandma, and we played a game that Mandy had.
I can't remember what it was called, but everyone had alot of fun playing it.
Grandma watched us all from the sunroom with "Bentley".
( Jessica is "Bentley's" Mom)

Aunt Michele is a great back scratcher.
I could stand there all day and let her scratch my back.

Don't stop...Don't stop.
 That's it, right there.
On the hip...oh, heaven.

Wait!...

I smell hamburgers!

Uncle Mike makes great hamburgers.

I love Uncle Mike.
He is a funny guy.

It was a FUN day!

I Love you Grandma.
I can't wait to see you next time.

I am pooped!

Night everyone.

Hay Delivery

Clean again!

Got a bath Saturday. Feels good to be clean again.

Don't get me wrong, it was fun running around in that tall grass, and almost falling into the pond,but...

I was itchy ALL night.

Anyway... today was a big day. Hay delivery day and Mothers day. I got to go down and help with the hay.

I must say, it was awfully early for a Sunday morning. And COLD, only 44 degrees!
I could be in Mom's bed.
Toasty and warm.
But NO.
I just had to dance at the door so Mom would take me along.
I thought we were going to Grandma's

Mom said,' after the hay delivery.'
Oh well...this could be fun.

Dad is stacking the hay that is still left. Mom is sweeping out the old hay.
I am looking for mice.

He should be coming soon.
I think I hear him.

I had to stay back away from the big truck.
It was fun to watch the hay fall out.

Time to move 50 bales of hay.
I think I will supervise.

'Come on guys... the faster we get this done, the sooner I...I mean We get to Grandma's!'

O.K. just drop them here, and Mom will stack them up nice and neat.
This is hard work. You have to know when to move out of the way.

I only tripped Mom 3 times.
So listen to me...if you see your Mom backing up with a 40lb hay bale...
MOVE
or you will get stepped on.
Half way done.
You guys are doing great!
We will be leaving for Grandma's soon.

Keep it moving Mom.
Just spit the hay out when it gets in your mouth. It doesn't really taste good. I don't really know why those big old horses like the stuff...way too dry for my taste.

Yea! Just a few more to move.

Come on guys, don't slow down now.
Can't you smell Grandma cooking that Mac&Cheese already?...
I Can!

Last one Mom!
Time to get ready to go.
It's Mother's Day!

Hey! I was clean.
Mom I have hay all over me. I can't go to Grandma's looking like this.

Clean me off please.
Oh...Mom...You have hay ALL OVER you.

Time to go to Grandma's!!

Time to visit the Horses

We got home early from work today. Mom took "Lily" and I down to the horses field to run around.
This field is the only grass we have.
Would you believe that it is for the horses. HORSES!
They get to run in it, and roll in it, and poop on it, and EAT it.

I get yelled at when I eat the grass...Well... I do throw it up later.

We found some Fox poop, and we thought it would be a great idea to roll in it.
Mom didn't.
She had a cow, and yelled at us to stop. (Lily had a bath today)
Sometimes I really don't understand people. You don't run across Fox poop everyday! I REALLY wanted to roll!

When we finished running around the horses field, Mom decided to trust us to run around our neighbors pond, back over to our property. LOL

I did not mean to slip in.
I thought I saw a frog near the edge.
I just wanted to smell it.
I did not know it was sooo muddy.
I just slipped.
Really.
REALLY!

I guess I am getting a bath tomorrow.

Mom keeps me so clean all of the time, but that was fun. Mom was not happy at first, she thought I was going to fall all the way into the pond.

(I thought so too for a second.)

Then Mom laughed about it, and said 'I had to be a dog sometimes.'

After the pond incident, we went over to see the Horses. Mom will not let us in with them. She is afraid that we would get hurt.

They are Big. I am not sure if I like them or not.

Did I mention...

They ARE big.

Then one of the horses moved, and "Lily" freaked out. Only for a second. Mom calmed her down.
It did not bother the horses at all when "Lily" barked at them.

I think they were laughing at her.

"Lily" is silly.
But she is my best friend. (Next to Mom.)

Mom hosed me off a little...ugh.
'Come on Mom, I wasn't THAT dirty.'
You will most likely give me a bath tomorrow.
Hose water IS cold.
I would rather have a warm bath!

At least Mom let me in the front door.

(I have her wrapped around my paw.)
